American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Operating Room for a night shift position at a Level 1 Trauma Center, requiring 2 years of trauma experience and circulating skills across multiple surgical specialties.

Details

• 37-bed Level 1 Trauma Center operating room setting
• Circulate cases including General, GU/GYN, Orthopedics, Ortho Trauma, Neurosurgery, open vascular, ENT, dental, and Pediatric surgery
• Experience with Da Vinci Robot procedures
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend rotation of 1:4, 12-hour shifts
• Float requirement within a 25-mile radius between facilities as needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (Maine or Compact) required
• BLS certification required (AHA certification must be completed prior to start if submitted with non-AHA equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years of trauma experience required
• Charge experience a plus
• Must be flexible, accountable, timely, and a strong team player
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Circulate a wide variety of surgical cases across multiple specialties as part of a collaborative OR team
• Local candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local
• Local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months must disclose this at time of consideration
• RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract
• Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage are prohibited on the unit
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
