American Traveler is hiring an RN for a PCU/Cardiac Step-Down position requiring vasoactive drip management and ACLS certification.

Details

• Medical Surgical/PCU unit within a hospital setting
• Cardiac step-down patient population
• 12-hour shifts on a rotating day/night schedule (0700-1930 or 1900-0730) within a 6-week block
• May consider straight night shifts for interested candidates
• No straight day shift positions available
• 3x12s totaling 36 hours per week with a 30-minute meal break
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• Straight weekend schedules welcomed if preferred
• Volunteer on-call opportunities available

Requirements

• Active RN license (SD or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Cardiac step-down experience required
• Ability to run vasoactive drips including nitro, levo, neo, and anti-arrhythmics such as cleviprex
• Experience with BiPAP, chest tubes, and telemetry monitoring required
