Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN with an active NC or compact license and at least 3 years of experience, including charge experience, for a Women's Services unit.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within the Women's Services unit, covering Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Peds, and Gyn
• Unit includes 3 LDR beds, 4 triage beds, 2 ante-partum beds, and 10 post-partum/Gyn/Peds beds
• Patient ratios are based on acuity
• Patient population includes maternal, newborn, adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients
• Uses Philips fetal monitors with OB TraceVue and MediTech EHR
• 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekend rotation required every third weekend
• Floating to other units required
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
• Minimum of 3 years of Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Peds, and Gyn experience required
• Charge nurse experience required
• Must hold current North Carolina RN licensure/certification requirements

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care across Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Peds, and Gyn areas within the unit
• No specific scrub color required, but professional dress code must be followed
• Local candidates may be considered, but travel pay rate requires residing 60+ miles from the facility
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates must not be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
