American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery/Women's Emergency Department role requiring 3+ years of high-volume perinatal experience and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification.

Details

• Level IV Maternal Designation facility with 26 LDR suites, 6 C-section suites, 60 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms, and 15 monitored Ante-partum beds
• High-risk, fast-paced delivery service performing 500+ deliveries per month
• 24-hour in-house Attending OB, anesthesia, and NICU coverage with Perinatal Transport Program support
• Women's Emergency Department has 14 beds and sees patients ranging from 16 weeks gestation to 6 weeks postpartum with expanded GYN scope
• Academic teaching service alongside large private OB practices
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:00
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) required
• BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross
• ACLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from AAP
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification required
• Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification preferred
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Labor & Delivery and Women's Emergency Department setting
• Radius rule applies at this facility, allowing local candidates but potentially at a reduced rate
• Travelers are encouraged to discuss extension opportunities with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
