American Traveler is hiring a Practice Manager (RN Leadership) for a 13-week Family Medicine practice assignment requiring an active IL RN license and prior leadership experience.

Details

• Family Medicine practice spanning multiple locations
• Manages approximately 15 associates, 7 physicians, and 21 residents
• Epic EMR used for both outpatient clinic and inpatient settings
• Day shift schedule from 08:00-16:30
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required
• Minimum 1 year of leadership or management experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Serves as liaison between practice physicians, office employees, and other clinical and administrative areas
• Develops growth strategies and business plans in cooperation with practice physicians and leadership
• Supports financial, budget, and business goals for the practice
• Ensures adequate staffing to meet provider work schedule demands
• May assist with development and implementation of physician compensation systems
• Monitors billing and collection functions
• Oversees daily operations including services, site policies, staff development, and patient flow
• Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict resolution
• Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, and payroll functions
• Monitors budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations
• Assesses and coordinates quality of patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other providers
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
