American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN with an active OH or compact license and prior specialty experience for an 18-week hospital assignment.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit in a hospital setting
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Rotating D/N shifts (3x12 hours), 7pm-7:30am or 7am-7:30pm
• Shifts may vary to meet hospital operational needs
• Every other holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation with acceptable scores required
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Tele unit with potential float assignments
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Background check hits are reviewed but open cases will not be accepted
• No license hits accepted
• Nurses are temporarily exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements
• First-time travelers may be considered
