Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry/Intermediate Care (IMC) stepdown night shift position requiring a GA or compact license and at least one year of recent critical care/ICU experience.

Details

• Provide care in an IMC/stepdown unit within a hospital setting
• 13-week assignment with possible extension
• Night shift schedule, 4x12 hours (19:00-7:00)
• Some weekend shifts required
• Holiday coverage required
• Minimal to no requested time off permitted, especially around holidays

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS preferred
• Minimum one year of recent Critical Care/ICU experience required
• Skilled in IV starts, lab draws/sample collecting, and titrating critical drips
• Intermediate-level FM skill required
• Travel experience preferred
• Royal blue scrubs required (not provided by facility)

Additional Information

• Care setting is an IMC/stepdown telemetry unit
• Candidates residing within 30 miles of the facility will not be accepted
• Candidates residing 31-50 miles from the facility will be considered at the local rate
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Managers may offer some flexibility with time off requests but expect minimal RTO overall
