American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN ECMO Specialist requiring NE or compact RN license and Cardiohelp experience for a pediatric ECMO unit.

Details

• ECMO Specialist role within a pediatric hospital setting
• Serves as pump specialist for patients on ECMO for cardiac or non-cardiac reasons, managing both VA ECMO and VV ECMO
• When no ECMO patients are present, works as a bedside nurse in the ICUs caring for cardiac, non-cardiac, or NICU patients based on unit needs
• Floats to NICU, PICU, and CVPICU as needed
• 1:2 patient ratio
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:00
• Required to work every 3rd weekend

Requirements

• Active RN license (NE or Compact) required
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Cardiohelp experience required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred

• Must reside within a 100 mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Former permanent employees of the facility are not accepted for travel assignments
