Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Operating Room position requiring at least two years of acute care experience and current PALS certification.

Details

Work within the Surgical Services department, specializing in Pediatric OR cases
Day shift schedule, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week including Fridays
On-call responsibilities required approximately every 5th weekend, 7a-7p Saturday and Sunday

Requirements

Active RN license (KY or Compact) required
Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
Minimum two years of acute care RN experience required
Prior experience working in a Pediatric OR required

Additional Information

Provide patient and family-centered surgical care to pediatric patients
Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient and family needs
Mentor and precept staff while promoting evidence-based practice
Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel and support quality improvement initiatives

The weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, reflects the lower end of this range for local candidates and higher end of this range for travel candidates. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines. Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
