American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN House Supervisor for a night shift hospital position requiring active CA RN license, ACLS/BLS certification, and prior house supervisor or charge experience.

Details

• Hospital-based House Supervisor position overseeing bed control, staffing, and operational needs facility-wide
• Responds to codes and Rapid Response Team (RRT) activations
• Serves as administrative liaison across all hospital departments, agencies, and physicians when leadership is not onsite
• Night shift, 5x8 hour shifts (16:00-00:00)
• May require flexibility to work PMs, NOCs, or weekends as facility needs arise
• EPIC and UKG scheduling system experience utilized
• Inpatient acute care setting

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required in-hand at time of consideration
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Experience with EPIC and UKG systems preferred
• 1:4 patient ratio experience

Additional Information

• Directs facility operations and supervises personnel across all departments in the absence of onsite leadership
• Serves as a resource for decision-making related to patient care services, non-clinical services, and staffing
• Ensures proper interpretation and application of hospital policies and procedures
• Provides functional guidance to all hospital units
• Candidates must reside within a 75-mile radius of the facility
• Time off requests always require facility approval and must be submitted at time of consideration
• Two supervisor references preferred
