American Traveler is hiring an ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of ER experience and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Details

• Work in a 14-bed Emergency Room within a community hospital setting
• Care for all patient populations including geriatric, adult, and pediatric cases
• Patient ratios of 1:4-5
• Uses Baxter pumps and Spacelabs cardiac monitors
• Utilizes MedHost EHR system
• Day shift schedule from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend as needed
• No call requirements
• No floating requirements specified

Requirements

• Active RN license (VA or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Minimum of 2 years of ER experience required
• Trauma experience preferred
• MedHost EHR experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide emergency room nursing care across all patient age groups and acuity levels
• Facility has earned the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
• Scrub color is solid, any color
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
