American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric ER RN with an active IL license and at least 1 year of experience for a 10-week travel assignment.

Details

• Work in the Pediatric ER unit of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule (3x12 hours), 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Rotating weekend requirement
• 10-week assignment length
• Epic EMR used, with prior experience preferred to expedite start

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required in hand prior to start
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred; candidates without experience will need to attend an instructor-led course
• Nursys report required at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in the emergency department
• RTO requests limited to no more than 3 days, with no time off allowed during the first or last week of the contract
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Former staff of University of Chicago Medicine locations must have been separated for at least 7 months before returning as a traveler
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
