American Traveler is hiring a RN House Supervisor for a critical access hospital, requiring strong charge nurse and ER supervisory experience.

Details

• Critical access hospital setting with 23 total staff beds
• House Supervisor role overseeing nursing care delivered across all units organizationally
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Rotating weekends required
• No floating between units and no on-call responsibilities
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Charge nurse and ER experience required
• Strong supervisory experience in an ER setting required
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required (ALS also noted as required)
• Epic charting experience required
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
• Full SSN and DOB required for submission

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include code management, crisis intervention, rapid response team participation, and bed management
• Oversees new admissions, post-surgical and post-procedure patients, and transfers to higher levels of care
• Handles facility/bed diversion, discharge AMA situations, and sentinel event monitoring and reporting
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements including DPH, TJC, and OSHA standards
• Maintains infection control and isolation procedures
• Any scrub color accepted for RN and allied staff
• No parking fees at this facility
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted location
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process
