American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN House Supervisor for a night shift acute care hospital role requiring a CA RN license and prior house supervisor experience.

Details

7 7 coverage in an acute care hospital setting as House Supervisor over the entire facility
Night shift schedule, 6p-6a, 12-hour shifts
Every other weekend requirement
First to float every other weekend
Uses Cerner EMR
24/7 in-house hospitalist/intensivist coverage
Daytime IV team availability
24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy coverage
2-3 shifts of floor-specific orientation provided

Additional Information

Manage hospital-wide staffing and bed assignments
Collaborate with charge nurses across units
Respond to patient complaints and staffing situations
Contact administration when indicated
Call in cath lab and OR teams during off hours
Navy scrub color required
Holiday coverage worked into permanent staff rotation
Must reside within required radius per facility policy
