Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring at least 2 years of recent ICU experience and critical care skills such as ventilator and Swan-Ganz management.

Details

• Work in the ICU of a hospital setting
• 13-week assignment with possibility of extension
• Night shift schedule, 4x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Possible floating to IMCU or CPU
• Holiday coverage required
• Uses Cerner/Soarian EMR

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Experience with ventilator management required
• Experience with ICP monitoring required
• Experience with telemetry and cardiac dysrhythmia interpretation/management required
• Experience with pulmonary artery (Swan-Ganz) line monitoring required
• Experience with intra-aortic balloon pumps required
• IV start skills required
• Cerner/Soarian EMR experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Royal blue scrubs required (not provided by facility)
• Proof of residence via driver's license and NURSYS required for radius verification

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients, including management of ventilators, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic lines
• Minimal to no RTO accepted, especially around holidays
• Travel pairs are not accepted for this position
• Candidates residing within 30 miles of the facility will not be considered
• Candidates residing 31-50 miles from the facility will be considered at a reduced local rate
• First-time travelers may be considered with sufficient ICU experience
