American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Outpatient Procedures unit requiring EPIC experience and CA RN licensure, with periop, PACU, or endo background considered.

Details

• Outpatient Procedures unit within a hospital setting
• Position may be filled by a periop, PACU, or endo RN
• Day shift schedule with 5x8 shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• EPIC experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required (3 years for ER, ICU, Cath Lab, or OR)
• Recent experience within the last 3 months in the submitted specialty required
• EPIC and/or Cerner experience must be documented in employment history

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and care plans
• Implement care plans and evaluate patient progress toward outcomes
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane care
• Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
• Accepts local candidates with no radius restriction
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
• Candidates with any prior licensure action will not be considered
• Traveler may only be submitted to one hospital within the health system at a time
