American Traveler is hiring a RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CA RN license, EPIC experience, and at least 3 years of specialty experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
• Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36-48 hours per week
• Requires EPIC EMR experience

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification required (American Heart Association)
• PALS certification required (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Recent experience within the last 3 months in the ER specialty required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required and must be documented in employment history
• No candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will be considered

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct various levels of assigned nursing staff while coordinating care across disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care needs
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans to achieve patient outcomes
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe, humane, and healing care
• Provide health education to patients, families, and treatment team members
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Appropriately delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
• Required vaccinations must be up to date as a condition of employment, subject to medical or religious exemptions
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
