American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active CA RN license and EPIC experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
• Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36-48 hours per week
• EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS certification required (BLS, HS-BLS, or RQI BLS accepted)
• ACLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of recent ER experience required
• BSN preferred
• Prior acute care facility experience preferred
• No prior disciplinary action on license permitted

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct nursing staff activities while coordinating care across disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and develop care plans
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to promote a safe and healing environment
• Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
• Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
• All required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
