Description

American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring pre/post-op, GI, IR and PACU experience along with EPIC proficiency.

Details

• Surgery Recovery Room unit supporting pre/post-op, GI, IR and PACU patients
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts with scheduled starts between 0600 and 0800 based on department need
• Call requirements of 1-2 shifts per week day plus every third weekend (Friday end of shift to 0630 Monday)
• Rotating holiday coverage with staff
• May require floating onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed
• Uses EPIC EMR

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certification, both must be AHA
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Experience in pre/post-op, GI, IR and PACU settings
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must provide a US Social Security Number and US home address

Additional Information

• Provide recovery room nursing care across pre/post-op, GI, IR and PACU patient populations
• Only one submission per candidate allowed system-wide for Ascension positions
• Radius rule applies allowing local candidates but at a reduced rate, varying by state
• Candidates should discuss assignment extension with managers at least 45 days before end date
• COVID vaccination is not required
