American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a high-volume, high-risk academic delivery service requiring at least 2 years of L&D/perinatal experience and TX or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Level IV Maternal Designation facility with 26 LDR suites, including low intervention rooms, 6 C-section suites, 14 triage rooms, 60 mother-baby couplet rooms, and 16 monitored ante-partum beds
• Academic teaching service supporting large private OB practices
• High-risk, fast-paced delivery unit performing 500+ deliveries per month
• 24-hour in-house Attending OB, anesthesia, and NICU coverage
• Perinatal Transport Program in place
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or compact) required
• BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross
• ACLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross
• NRP certification from AAP/AHA
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school required
• 3-5 years of perinatal clinical experience in high-volume delivery service preferred
• S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Primary source license/certificate verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Provide labor, delivery, and perinatal nursing care within a high-acuity academic teaching environment
• Collaborate with in-house OB, anesthesia, and NICU teams as part of a coordinated care model
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced pay rate depending on facility location
