Description

American Traveler is hiring a Rehabilitation RN for an inpatient rehab hospital night shift position requiring at least 2 years of rehab nursing experience and a FL or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital
• Rehabilitation Nursing unit located on floors 1-2
• Patient population includes stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury cases
• Patient ratio of 1:8
• Uses Cerner EHR
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (FL or Compact)
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum of 2 years rehabilitation nursing experience required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
• Basic computer knowledge and effective English communication skills (verbal and written) required

Additional Information

• Provide individualized rehabilitation nursing care tailored to each patient's recovery needs
• Work as part of a cooperative, team-oriented nursing staff
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Report to the Nurse Manager upon arrival
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel assignment
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
