American Traveler is hiring a RN - Psychiatric for a Gero Psych unit requiring behavioral health and acute/long-term care experience with WA or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in the Gero Psych unit of a 131-bed Level III Trauma Center with 26 dedicated Gero Psych beds
• Patient population has comorbidities requiring advanced medical skills and assessment
• 12-hour night shift schedule totaling 36 hours per week
• Weekend rotation typically every other weekend, with Fri-Sat considered the weekend for nights
• Patient ratios of 1:10-12 on nights with support from MHT and LPN staff
• Floating required to Adult Psych or TG Adolescent Psych units
• No on-call responsibilities
• EPIC EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• CPI or MOAB certification required
• Minimum 2 years total nursing experience, including 1 year in behavioral health and 1 year in acute or long-term care

Additional Information

• Provide psychiatric nursing care to a geriatric patient population with comorbid medical conditions
• Scrubs of any color permitted as long as they do not contain offensive words or images
