Description

American Traveler is hiring a Psychiatric RN for an Adult Psychiatry unit requiring 1 year of behavioral health experience and CPI or MOAB certification.

Details

Work in the Adult Psychiatry unit of a 131-bed Level III Trauma Center with 20 adult psych beds
Day/evening shift schedule with a 12-hour rotating pattern
36 hours per week
Weekend rotation typically every other weekend, with Sat-Sun considered the weekend for Days and Fri-Sat for Nights
Unit staffing includes MHT and LPN support with ratios of 1:7-8 on Days and 1:10-12 on Nights
Floating required to Gero Psych or TG Adolescent Psych units
No call requirements
Epic EMR used, experience preferred but not required

Requirements

Active WA or compact RN license
Current BLS certification
CPI or MOAB certification required
Minimum 1 year of behavioral health nursing experience required

Additional Information

Provide direct psychiatric nursing care to the adult behavioral health population
Scrubs may be any color as long as they do not display offensive words or images
First-time travelers are welcome to apply

The weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, reflects the lower end of this range for local candidates and higher end of this range for travel candidates. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines. Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
