American Traveler is hiring a night-shift RN for a Med Surg/Telemetry position requiring an active IL RN license, IA license eligibility, and at least 2 years of Med Surg experience.

Details

• Med Surg/Telemetry unit within a hospital setting, part of a Clinical Resource Team
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• 3x12-hour night shifts, 6:30 PM-7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• May be required to float across multiple campuses (Rock Island, Bettendorf, Moline, Muscatine)
• May float to the Stepdown unit as needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required at time of consideration
• IA RN license also required, or proof of application for IA single-state or compact license
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience required
• Stepdown/Cardiac experience preferred
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• Current work history/resume required
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year required
• One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment required

Additional Information

• Contributes professional/clinical knowledge and skills as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• May float within discipline across local campuses as needed
• Must maintain a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for submission
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
