American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN for a 36-hour Monday-Thursday night shift assignment requiring an active MA RN license and prior academic medical center experience.

Details

• Work in the PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) of a hospital setting
• 36-hour work week, Monday through Thursday, nights only
• Shift hours are 19:00-07:30
• 13-week assignment length
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses not accepted
• BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year of travel PACU experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Academic Medical Center experience required
• Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start date

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia in the PACU
• Flu vaccination required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of the facility, with a reduced rate applying
