American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN for a 13-week academic medical center assignment requiring 3+ years of RN experience and prior travel PACU experience.

Details

• Work in the PACU Nursing Day unit of an academic medical center
• 13-week contract assignment
• 36 hours per week on a day/evening rotation, with shifts falling between 6:00 AM and 11:30 PM
• 50% day/evening rotation schedule
• Up to 2 weekend shifts per month
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
• Primary source verification of license/certifications required via NURSYS and BON within 30 days of start
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year of travel PACU experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Academic Medical Center experience required
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted, but must reside within a 60-mile radius of the facility and will receive a rate 5% below the standard travel rate
• Candidates must provide RTO at the time of consideration
• Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
