American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVOR RN with scrub and circulate experience for a Cardiovascular Operating Room position requiring call availability.

Details

• Work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) of a hospital setting
• Shift schedule includes 10hr days as well as 8hr days with varied start times
• Call required, with further details discussed during interview
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float and possibly to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
• Guaranteed 40 hours weekly

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Must have scrub and circulate experience
• Prior experience working specifically in a CVOR required
• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing

Additional Information

• Travelers are expected to function as core staff and integrate fully into unit culture
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, with strict enforcement including verification of property ownership or co-signing within the radius
• Candidates commuting from outside the area or planning to travel home between shifts will not be considered; must secure full-time housing in the area
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to start and will not be approved after submission
• Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote orientation and an in-person visit for badge/ID
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date, with no exceptions for pending documentation
