American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Ambulatory Oncology Infusion position requiring chemo/bio/immunotherapy certification and prior oncology infusion experience.

Details

• Work in the Viragh Infusion Clinic, an ambulatory oncology infusion setting within a comprehensive cancer center
• Fast-paced infusion center providing patient-focused care to oncology patients
• Day shift schedule, 10-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Utilizes Epic/Beacon EMR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (MD or Compact) required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Chemo/bio/immunotherapy provider card required (ONS chemotherapy and immunotherapy certificate course, not the fundamentals course)
• Oncology infusion experience required
• Proficiency in peripheral IV insertion and peripheral blood draws required
• Skilled in accessing, maintaining, and de-accessing central lines
• Strong assessment skills for a variety of medical conditions with ability to provide patient education
• Epic experience preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Some emergency room experience preferred
• Ambulatory care experience preferred
• Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed facility experience) required
