American Traveler is hiring a RN for a Wound/Ostomy Care position requiring 2 years of recent experience and at least one prior travel assignment.

Details

• Hospital-based Wound Care unit
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No weekend or holiday shifts required

Requirements

• Active DC RN license in hand required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience within the last 7 years required
• At least 1 previous travel assignment required for consideration
• Two supervisory references required, including one from the most recent assignment, supporting at least 2 years of experience within the previous 3 years

Additional Information

• Provide wound and ostomy nursing care to patients within a hospital setting
• Must reside within a 60-mile radius of the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate
• No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment; a maximum of 7 days RTO allowed per 13-week contract
• Manager interviews are not guaranteed and travelers must be comfortable proceeding without one
• Former MedStar employees must have been separated from employment for at least one year before returning as a traveler
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position given the travel experience requirement
