Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac RN for a Surgical/Cardiology Stepdown unit requiring cardiac nursing experience and current ACLS certification.

Details

• Work in the Surgical, Cardiology Stepdown unit of an acute care hospital
• 12-hour shifts on a Day/Night rotating schedule
• Scheduled for 36 or 48 hours per week
• Required to work every other weekend (Fri/Sat/Sun) or straight weekends
• Required to work every other holiday
• Floating required, with critical care experience preferred to support this
• Uses EPIC EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (SD or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• Must be a cardiac nurse
• Critical care experience preferred
• Current EPIC EMR experience required
• Clinicians who previously worked for Sanford Health must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to surgical and cardiology stepdown patients
• All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Ceil Blue scrubs provided
• Local candidates may be accepted, though not all locations or departments accept local candidates
• Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility may be subject to a bill rate adjustment
