American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Oncology Infusion Clinic position requiring an active OK or compact RN license and ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based oncology infusion clinic setting
• Monday to Friday schedule, 7am-5pm, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• No weekends or holidays required
• Day shift assignment
• Adult oncology patient population

Requirements

• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration certificate from the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS)
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred

Additional Information

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other medications including PO and SC injections as ordered by physician
• Initiate, regulate, and monitor IV infusions and blood products
• Assist physicians during conscious sedation and minor diagnostic procedures
• Obtain and monitor physiological data, documenting patient responses to interventions and treatments
• Provide chemotherapy-related patient and family education
• Coordinate patient follow-up care including referrals and post-visit phone calls
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
