American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring circulating skills in ENT and ortho along with scrub experience.

Details

• Surgery Room unit within a 205-bed hospital featuring a Level II NICU
• 6-bed unit with 5 general and 1 urology bed
• Patient population includes General, GYN, Urology, ENT, Vascular, spinal, dental, and complex cases
• 8-hour day shift schedule with a 0645am start time, 40 hours per week
• Uses Epic EMR, Alaris IV pumps, and Pyxis medication dispensing system
• No floating required for RNs
• On-call responsibilities required, including weekday call shifts and a weekend call rotation approximately every 4-5 weeks
• Weekend call consists of 24-hour coverage on Saturday followed by 12-hour coverage on Sunday
• Holiday coverage required for call only, once per contract

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Must be able to circulate in ENT and orthopedic cases
• Scrub experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the last year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
• Candidate's middle name or initial, date of birth, and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

• Support staff within the department includes a unit secretary and a charge nurse who also takes patient assignments
• Orientation includes hospital orientation plus one shift on the unit
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
