American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a Level I trauma center with day/night rotation shifts, weekend and call requirements, and a required active MA RN license.

Details

• Work in the General OR unit of a Level I trauma hospital setting
• 13-week assignment with day/night rotational and variable shift scheduling
• 4x10 or 4x12 schedule options with rotating days and nights
• Day shifts run 7a-5:30p (or 7a-7:30p for 4x12) Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri, with Wednesday shifts starting at 9a
• Night shifts run 7p-5:30a (or 7p-7:30a for 4x12) Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri, with Wednesday shifts starting at 9p
• Weekend shifts scheduled as 12-hour shifts, with reduced hours scheduled that same week to meet contracted weekly hours
• Call requirements included as part of scheduling
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand at time of consideration; conditional or pending licenses not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
• Level I trauma center experience required
• AHA-issued certifications only
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Primary source verification of license/certifications required within 30 days of start and upon expiration

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care within a Level I trauma OR setting
• Schedule flexibility required, including being scheduled for day shifts when not needed for nights
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Boston are accepted at a reduced rate
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
• Parking at Boston-area facilities is not validated; public transportation or paid public lots are the available options
