American Traveler is hiring a Tele/Ambulatory Care RN with CA licensure and at least 2 years of telemetry and ACU/PACU experience for a night shift acute care position.

Details

• Work in an Ambulatory Care unit within an acute patient care setting
• Provide direct patient care, patient/family education, and support transitions of care
• Rotating night shifts available: 4x10-hour shifts (9:00 PM-7:30 AM) or 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM-7:30 AM)
• Weekend rotation required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required
• Minimum 2 years of ACU/PACU experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred

• Local candidates accepted at the local rate
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius to qualify for the travel rate
• Returning employees must have a minimum 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
• Maximum RTO is 7 days per contract
• Only 1 holiday may be requested off per contract
• Holiday coverage includes New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
• Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
