American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interim Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) position in a long-term care setting, requiring an active RN license and prior leadership experience.

Details

• Long-term care (post-acute) facility setting
• Interim ADON role within LTC management
• Uses Point Click Care (PCC) as the charting/EMR system
• Day shift schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM
• 8-hour shifts with 40 guaranteed hours per week
• On-call rotation required for weekend coverage
• Holiday coverage on a rotating basis
• 13-week assignment length
• Will work the floor as needed to cover shifts

Requirements

• Active RN license (ND or Compact) required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required
• BSN not required for this position
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Serve as Interim ADON, overseeing nursing operations and staffing coverage as needed
• Work within an 80-mile radius for local placement consideration
• Local candidates are accepted at an adjusted rate
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
