Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU Float position requiring 2 years of experience, prior travel experience, and floating to Med/Surg units.

Details

• PCU Float position that will predominantly support Med/Surg units
• Night shift schedule (3x12 or 4x12 hours), 19:00-07:00
• Scheduled for 84 hours biweekly with a 72 hour guarantee
• Floating required to support Med/Surg as primary need
• EPIC charting system experience preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) required in-hand before start
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS and Nursys documentation required for consideration
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• EPIC charting experience strongly preferred
• Must be available to complete required lab work within 72 hours of accepting offer

Additional Information

• Assignment length up to 20 weeks with possible end date extension
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to accepting the offer
• Must reside outside a 50 mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with any positive result resulting in automatic cancellation
