American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Outpatient Endoscopy Center position requiring 2+ years of specialty and travel experience.

Details

• Work in an outpatient Endoscopy Center focused on elective outpatient procedures
• Unit includes 4 procedure rooms, 5 pre-op bays, and 5 PACU bays
• Common diagnoses include colon cancer screenings and rectal bleeds
• Patient population ranges from 18-95 years old
• Schedule is Monday-Friday, 10-hour day shifts from 7:00am-5:30pm
• No block scheduling permitted
• Floating required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Required to work every other major holiday

Requirements

• Active or conditional Massachusetts RN license required
• AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required
• SGNA certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of GI/Endoscopy specialty experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required during flu season

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing elective outpatient GI/endoscopy procedures
• Local candidates within 50 miles will be accepted at a reduced local rate
• Scrubs of any color are permitted
• Orientation occurs on a bi-weekly basis
• RTO requests are limited to no more than 5 days
• First-time travelers are not considered for this position
