American Traveler is hiring a RN High Risk Antepartum for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, NRP, BLS, and ACLS certifications.

Details

• Work in the OB Special Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Provide care for high risk antepartum, L&D, postpartum, and newborn patients
• Night shift schedule of 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current certifications required upon hire: BLS, ACLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and NRP (all AHA-issued certifications only)
• Minimum of one year of RN experience required
• Experience with antepartum or L&D, postpartum, and newborn care required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills

Additional Information

• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients and document responses to nursing interventions and treatments
• Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Monitor physiological data and intervene as necessary
• Administer medications and manage IV infusions and blood products
• Communicate care plans with patients and families, including discharge planning
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
• Compliance documentation and onboarding requirements must be completed promptly, as start dates cannot be pushed
• Travelers must be booked at least 4 weeks from time of offer to allow for compliance processing
• Returning travelers may extend only once for a total of 26 weeks unless otherwise agreed, followed by a required 6-month separation before reapplying
