American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Operating Room with strong ortho and cataracts surgery experience, DaVinci Robotics skills, and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Split schedule with 3 days per week at the Danvers Surgical Center (7:00 AM-3:30 PM) and 2 rotating days/evenings per week at the Beverly Hospital site (latest shift 1:00 PM-9:30 PM)
• Danvers Surgical Center has 4 operating rooms while Beverly Hospital has 10 OR suites
• Services include General, GYN, Orthopedics (total joints), GU, ENT, Vascular, Robotics, and Spine surgery
• Must be able to scrub DaVinci Robotics cases and orthopedic procedures
• Float required to Addison Gilbert as needed
• Call requirements at Beverly Hospital consist of 2-3 shifts per schedule period, either 11:00 PM-7:00 AM on weeknights or 12-hour weekend shifts (7:00 AM-7:00 PM or 7:00 PM-7:00 AM)
• Call response time is 30 minutes
• Uses EPIC EMR

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Strong experience in orthopedic and cataract surgery required
• Spine surgery experience is a plus
• DaVinci Robotics scrubbing experience required
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius
• Local candidates accepted with a rate decrease
• Cannot have worked perm, per diem, or travel for any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility within the past six months
• Flu vaccine required prior to start with no personal or religious exemptions accepted
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care across General, GYN, Orthopedic, GU, ENT, Vascular, Robotics, and Spine surgical cases
• Facility is described as extremely traveler friendly
• Previous travel experience preferred
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Holiday coverage expectations apply
