American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric OR RN for a 13-week day shift assignment at a Level 1 Trauma pediatric hospital, requiring the ability to scrub and circulate.

Details

• Pediatric Operating Room unit within a children's hospital setting
• Day shift schedule working 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 13-week assignment length
• On-call requirements include nights and weekends, averaging 6-12 hour shifts per six weeks
• Must be able to scrub and circulate

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required in hand
• Current Nursys report required, pulled within the last 2 weeks
• Pediatric OR experience preferred
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Candidates with less than 2 years of experience will be accepted

Additional Information

• Provide surgical nursing care in a pediatric operating room, including scrubbing and circulating duties
• Complete required training modules either remotely or during orientation, and annually thereafter
• RTO requests limited to no more than 3 days, with no RTO permitted during the first or last week of the contract
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Former staff of this health system must have a 7-month separation period before returning as a traveler
