American Traveler is hiring a Behavioral Health RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring 18 months of recent behavioral health experience in a non-psychiatric acute care setting.

Details

• Work in the Behavioral Health unit of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule (3x12 hours) from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license (Standard or Compact) in hand
• Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 18 months of recent behavioral health experience in a non-psychiatric acute care hospital setting
• Experience with milieu management, medication management, assessments, and documentation
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care including milieu management, medication management, assessments, and documentation for behavioral health patients
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with up to two attempts allowed to achieve a passing score
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Nicotine testing requirements are waived for nursing staff
• Candidates with open background check cases or license hits will not be considered
• Assignments may be extended up to a maximum of 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month break before returning to any Cleveland Clinic location
