Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy Lab position requiring strong IV skills and prior tech experience.

Requirements

Active RN license (Standard or Compact) or VA state license currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS
Minimum 2 years of GI/Endoscopy experience required
Strong IV skills required
Prior technician experience required
EPIC and EndoWorks EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

Provide nursing care in a GI/Endoscopy Lab setting handling approximately 25 procedures per day, split between 75% outpatient and 25% inpatient cases
Weekend and holiday coverage is provided through an on-call rotation
On-call responsibilities include 10-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday, plus self-scheduled 2-hour blocks Monday through Friday
No floating required
Floor orientation is provided for 1 week
Dress code requires navy blue pants with solid navy blue or white tops, and solid navy blue or white jackets

The weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, reflects the lower end of this range for local candidates and higher end of this range for travel candidates. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines. Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
