Description

American Traveler is hiring a Hospice RN for a home health position in Clarksburg, WV, requiring a WV or compact RN license and at least 1 year of hospice experience.

Details

• Post-acute hospice setting providing care to patients in their homes or nursing facilities
• Covers Harrison, Barbour, Upshur, Lewis, Taylor, Doddridge, and Wetzel counties
• Smaller coverage area shared between 2 RNs
• Patient population includes terminally ill individuals with end-stage diagnoses such as cancer, heart disease, lung disease, and dementia
• Typical caseload of 5-6 patient visits within an 8-hour shift
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No weekend requirements
• No holiday requirements
• 13-week assignment with 40 guaranteed hours per week

Requirements

• Active WV or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year of hospice experience required
• BSN not required for this position
• EPIC EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

• Deliver hospice care to terminally ill patients in home and nursing facility settings
• Orientation includes EPIC training alongside another physical therapist
• Royal blue scrubs/uniform required
• Candidates must live within 50 miles of the facility to be eligible for local candidate consideration
