American Traveler is hiring an ER RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring an active MA RN license and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:00
• 13-week assignment length
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
• Both NURSYS and BON verification required for nursing license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA only)
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• 0-1 year of clinical nursing experience required
• Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients
• Knowledgeable of care required across different age groups
• Frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 35+ lbs with assisted device, and carrying 20-35 lbs required

Additional Information

• Responsible for patient assessment, clinical decision-making, and individualized nursing care in the emergency department
• Administer medications, monitor patients for reactions, and record vital signs and clinical changes
• Consult and coordinate with the healthcare team to plan and evaluate patient care
• Modify treatment plans based on patient response and condition
• Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of Boston to be eligible for the travel pay rate
• License and certification verification required within 30 days of start date and updated upon expiration
