American Traveler is hiring a Clinic RN for a Cardiology position requiring active CO or Compact RN license and 3 years of Cardiology-specific Clinic/Ambulatory experience.

Details

• Work in a Heart and Vascular Clinic setting within an ambulatory care environment
• Cardiology patient population requiring specialized clinic care
• Uses EKG and heart monitoring equipment, and assists with Exercise Stress Tests and Tilt Table Tests
• Epic EMR experience required
• Monday through Friday day shift schedule
• No weekend or on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active CO or Compact RN license in good standing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
• Minimum 3 years of Cardiology-specific Clinic/Ambulatory experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Proof of Flu vaccine required with no exemptions accepted
• DOB or SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Triage and assess patient concerns while coordinating care across cardiology services
• Perform EKGs, start IVs for diagnostic testing, and manage heart monitoring equipment
• Educate patients on cardiac conditions, medications, and treatment plans
• Occasionally assist with patient rooming in the clinic
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
