American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a 12-hour night shift assignment requiring active NH or Compact RN license and 2-3 years of ICU experience.

Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a, weekdays with every other weekend
• Floating required to ED, Stepdown, and Med Surg with modified assignment
• No on-call requirements
• Uses specialized equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella, ICP monitoring, arctic sun or TTM management, Alaris pumps, and rapid infusers

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• 2-3 years of ICU experience required, with stronger candidates preferred if closer to 2 years
• Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, PALS, and CCRN
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and quickly across a variety of care needs

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients using advanced life support equipment
• Weekly orientation provided
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at the local rate
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• RTO must be included at time of consideration
