Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with a Montana or compact RN license for a night shift assignment requiring at least one year of specialty experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Intensive Care Unit setting
• 12-hour night shift schedule
• 3 days per week, totaling 36 hours weekly
• 8-week assignment length
• Uses Epic charting system
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active RN license (Montana or Compact) required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Current PALS certification (AHA) required
• NRP certification required as appropriate for unit
• All certifications must not expire prior to start date
• Epic EMR charting experience required
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for ICU patients
• Evaluate health status through ongoing collection and assessment of patient data
• Provide health teaching and counseling to patients and families
• Deliver supportive and restorative therapy and treatment directly or through consultation, delegation, or supervision
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• No block booking of RTO will be approved
• Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before becoming eligible for a travel assignment
