Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Psychiatric for an acute inpatient behavioral health hospital, requiring an active MI RN license and at least 2 years of recent behavioral health experience.

Details

• Acute inpatient behavioral health hospital setting
• Adult population (ages 18+) with mental health and behavioral disorders, including substance abuse and addiction cases
• Services provided include family, group, and individual therapy
• 13-week contract assignment
• 12-hour Day shifts (7a-7p) with every other weekend required
• Holidays assigned as needed
• Uses Epic for charting and Pyxis for medication administration
• No blocked schedules permitted
• Floating required if requested

Requirements

• Active RN license in Michigan (MI) required at time of application
• Minimum of 2 years recent Behavioral Health nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Pyxis medication system experience required
• Handle With Care certification preferred
