American Traveler is hiring an RN Psychiatric nurse for a 13-week acute inpatient behavioral health contract requiring recent psych experience and a MO or compact RN license.

Details

• Acute inpatient behavioral health hospital setting on a reopening unit
• Treats all ages including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors
• Patient population includes those with behavioral disorders, memory disorders, mental health disorders, and mood disorders
• Levels of care provided include detoxification, inpatient, and residential
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7p-7a
• Required to work every other weekend
• Uses paper charting

Requirements

• Active RN license (MO or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum 1 year of recent behavioral health/psych experience within the last year
• Experience with paper charting systems

• Provide personalized, age-appropriate care supporting patient stabilization and progress
• Support acute, short-term inpatient care as well as long-term residential treatment programs
• Candidates residing within a 30-mile radius are eligible for local rates, while those beyond this radius qualify for travel rates
