Description

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring at least 2 years of recent ICU experience and proficiency with critical care skills such as ventilators, PA lines, and balloon pumps.

Details

• Work in the ICU of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 4x12 hours from 19:00 to 7:00
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Possible float to IMCU or CPU
• Holiday coverage required
• Uses Cerner/Soarian EMR system

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years recent ICU experience required
• Skills required: ventilator management, ICP monitoring, cardiac telemetry, PA lines, balloon pumps, IV starts, and Swan-Ganz monitoring
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Royal blue scrubs required (not provided)
• Must provide references, skills checklist, updated NURSYS, and a copy of driver's license to verify residence for radius determination

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients, including ventilator and hemodynamic monitoring support
• Minimal to no RTO accepted, especially around holidays, though management will try to be flexible
• Candidates residing within 30 miles of the facility will not be considered
• Candidates residing between 31-50 miles of the facility will be considered for a reduced local bill rate
• Travel pairs are not accepted for this position
